If you know me personally you already know that I have a slight but ever growing obsession with Jared Flood.
He happens to be one of my most favorite bloggers and a fabulous designer to boot.
So you can see why I was ecstatic when my friend Audrey brought this back for me from a class she attended of his in Portland, Oregon.
No. Its not just a pattern, people. He wrote on it. Ok.
Yes Brooklyn Tweed himself wrote me, Alana, a message.
How cool is that?

ReplyDeleteGet out!!!!! That's just so awesome! Yes, I love his designs too. Hang onto that. Don't mark on it! It might be worth a fortune, someday!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! I am going to make his Hemlock Ring Blanket soon...
ReplyDeleteYou have a cool friend, too!! It's not often that someone totally "gets it" over an obsession with a yarn god.

ReplyDeleteCooler than cool! Yay and yippee for you, Alana!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool...I discovered a couple weeks ago that I have a Jared Flood connection that I never realized. I have worked with his brother a few seasons in my Alaskan town and upon reading Jared's blog one day it hit me like a ton of bricks why he looks so familiar. I'm pretty sure I met him when he came up here for a visit...anyway, random story and a small world... :)
