My Tea Leaves Cardigan is done, and I absolutely love it! It fits great!
The only thing I'd change about the pattern is the buttonband. I would
definitely pick up fewer stitches next time.
This current buttonband could use some shortening.
I might fix it one of these days.. if I feel like it... maybe.
This cardigan is super cozy and wonderful, one that I will wear often for sure!
Your cardigan is lovely!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I just purchased the yarn for your Cosette Wrap which I will be downloading directly. I'll be knitting it in Madelinetosh Merino Grove 1 (MC) and Terrarium 3 - I hope the colors look as good in person as they do on the website. *crossing fingers* There is a lot of change going on in my life right now and I will be using this pattern as a mediation of sorts so I will be taking my time.
That being said - I can't wait to get the yarn so I can cast on!
That is just beautiful. I've got the body done and just kind of stalled on the sleeves. It'll hopefully get done before it's to nice to wear it.
ReplyDeleteThe sweater is beautiful! I love it!
ReplyDeleteLooks great. I'm working on it now - in colorway Silver Fox. I love it and can't wait to wear it. Glad to see yours in finished form.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the next podcast...
GORGEOUS!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE those buttons....Gorgeous Tea Leaves!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Question: did you use the same colorway as the original? Yours looks very similar, but still different... (wow i'm so well articulated :P)
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely be saving the link to those buttons - a...mazingly pretty.
That's gorgeous. As soon as I saw the pattern, I knew it had to go on my queue. And thanks for the link to the place to buy madelinetosh. I've been having a tough time finding what I want from their line.
ReplyDeleteSimply stunning! I love the colorway you choose in the Madelinetosh and the buttons are perfect. May have to give this pattern a try.
ReplyDeleteWow! I've made one too and got pbm with the band too, re-made it twice... but I love it and love yours too! Nice pictures!
ReplyDeleteOh, Alana- it turned out great! I'm not sure I would've picked this colorway myself, but now that I see it knit up, I think it is stunning!
ReplyDeleteLovely!! I love the colour, it looks fantastic!

The yarn is just as beautiful as you describe in your podcast. How lovely! I really enjoy your choice of buttons too. Thanks for all the great links and nice pictures to boot!
ReplyDeleteYour sweater came out just lovely. Looks great on you.
ReplyDeleteYour cardigan looks just lovely. I love the color of the Tosh Merino - so unusual and so perfect at the same time!
ReplyDeleteThis sweater turned out beautify! I love your yarn choice too.
ReplyDeleteOnce you redo your button band could you discuss more on the podcast the change (in picking up stitches for the button band that you made). Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'm adding this pattern to my queue and especially love the yarn you chose. Without seeing yours finished I would not have chosen that colorway but now I find it's really lovely and will prefer it over others.
