Tea Leaves Cardigan

My Tea Leaves Cardigan is done, and I absolutely love it! It fits great!

The only thing I'd change about the pattern is the buttonband. I would
definitely pick up fewer stitches next time.
This current buttonband could use some shortening.
I might fix it one of these days.. if I feel like it... maybe.

This cardigan is super cozy and wonderful, one that I will wear often for sure!

What? You want one too?

Well the...

beautiful pattern is found here. Soft madelinetosh yarn is found here. Fabulous lightweight buttons are found here.

  1. Your cardigan is lovely!!

And I just purchased the yarn for your Cosette Wrap which I will be downloading directly. I'll be knitting it in Madelinetosh Merino Grove 1 (MC) and Terrarium 3 - I hope the colors look as good in person as they do on the website. *crossing fingers* There is a lot of change going on in my life right now and I will be using this pattern as a mediation of sorts so I will be taking my time.
That being said - I can't wait to get the yarn so I can cast on!

  2. That is just beautiful. I've got the body done and just kind of stalled on the sleeves. It'll hopefully get done before it's to nice to wear it.

  6. Gorgeous! Question: did you use the same colorway as the original? Yours looks very similar, but still different... (wow i'm so well articulated :P)
I'll definitely be saving the link to those buttons - a...mazingly pretty.

  21. Once you redo your button band could you discuss more on the podcast the change (in picking up stitches for the button band that you made). Thank you.

  22. I'm adding this pattern to my queue and especially love the yarn you chose. Without seeing yours finished I would not have chosen that colorway but now I find it's really lovely and will prefer it over others.
