Very interesting podcast! I have sent a link to your blog for an icelandic girl I know, who lives in Denmark and loves to knit :) I think she will find it very interesting!I love the purple haze colorway :)
What a great interview! It must be a knitter's heaven to live in Iceland :0)!! Wish I could go on one of those knitting tours!! I love the purple haze colorway! (jpeled on ravelry)

I really enjoyed the interview and learning more about Iceland and the history of knitting there. All of the colors are beautiful, but my favorite is purple haze.Stacy in NC

Thank you to you and Ragga for the interview. And her Yup, it's Yellow is stunning.

OOh so Blue I'll be if I don't win this email@example.com
Hi, great podcast! My favorite color of the Nummi is the blue!
This was a wonderful interview! I am inspired to learn more. My favorite color is purple haze.
Hahahah. Thank you for this giveaway. I think it´s funny that I won this during this episode because I am Icelandic and learned to knit with Icelandic lopi. Oh and if I can enter this give away I love the color Oooh so blue. But I don´t want to be greedy.
What a great episode! I lived in Iceland with my family from 2004 - 2006. We miss is oh so much! It is a wonderful place to raise children. I learned to knit while living there from a wonderful Danish friend, so knitting and Iceland go hand in hand for me. I am in the Iceland group on Ravelry. I have too much lopi to count - all bought at the Alafoss factory store in Mosfellsbaer (10 minutes from the captial city). Love Nammi in oh so blue; have had the traditional icelandic three cornered shawl for girls and the girl's Runa cardigan both by Ragga in my que for a while - think I'll need to cast on for that shawl - perfect for cool New Hampshire summers. Thanks again for a great podcast - really loved your theme this episode :-)
Alana....thanks for this episode. Very interesting. I'd love to go to Iceland! Purple Haze is my favorite of the colors shown.
Thanks for such an interesting interview. I love how the Internet allows us to be so much more connected! My favorite color of Nummi is the Oooh so blue!
Love the color "Red on the Fence" with the Icelandic Ragga etsy site. The Podcast was very interesting...I enjoyed hearing about the lopi, the knitting education, and tours!!!
This episode really takes me back ... my very first sweater was in Lopi, over 20 years ago! I made it for my father, and he wore it constantly. And, amazingly, he STILL wears it. : ) Nammi is aptly named -- the colors look delicious! I love them all, but am especially taken with Red on the Fence. The variation is so very pretty. Thanks, Alana, for another fascinating podcast! (shadystroll on ravelry)
What an interesting interview. Thanks. I really love the Purple Haze.
I visited Iceland 6 years ago, but found only one yarn shop. So I'm thrilled to hear that there are more and a lovely new company. I'll have to go back soon ;-) I love the blue colourway.I'm Acipenser on Ravelry
I am with you! I would LOVE to go on one of those knitting tours! Iceland Knitting tour is being added to the never ending list of places I'd like to travel. And as with all knitting/fiber related travel ideas... it is being added towards the top! ;) Great Show as always! This is my favorite podcast... and I listen to a lot of them! Oh... and I like the OOh so Blue colorway!
Your podcasts are always so fun and interesting.
I adore the My goodness green! All the colors are gorgeous though. :)One of these days I'm going to have to see if I can do one of the knitting tours. The culture sounds incredible!

Wow... I so want to go on one of Raga's knitting tours. Sounds heavenly.. I adore her lime green colorway, the purple haze is a close second.
Alana,Always look for your newest podcast. I have always been interested in the Icelantic knits. I like the purple haze colorway
It was fascinating to learn about the Icelandic knitting culture - so different from America.I love the ooh so blue Nammi color.

I was thinking knitting has a deeply embedded place in Scottish culture too, similar to Iceland. I am a Scottish/Australian and I know so many Scottish knitter - my dad and my brother can knit. I would love Purple Haze!Jude
My Goodness Green if my favorite colorway.
I am dying to go to Iceland! I even went so far as to check flight costs. Maybe I'll be able to save enough to go in 2012 when I turn 40... Either that or go in to a chunk of debt to go sooner! That purple haze is beautiful...Selkie on Ravelry
The pinky red colorway on Raga's Etsy store is very cheery and reminds me of spring tulips. But I really like the soft pastel-ish green colorway on her Knitting Iceland website. All the colors are quite lovely. Thanks for a terrific and very interesting podcast. I look forward to following Raga's blog to learn more about her and Iceland.
I want to go on one of those tours now!! Sound so cool! Very interesting interview! I love the Purple Haze Nammijendada on Ravelry
The tours sound cool. All the colors are pretty, I really like Oooh so blue.
I think it would be really neat to learn this knitting technique! I would love to see on the "Red on the Fence" yarn knitted up.
Great podcast! I love the Purple Haze...and wish Ragga well in the business...Ana
Great interview! I agree with the other posters that Iceland must be a wonderful place to live. To go everywhere and be able to talk about knitting (and to knit without being looked at oddly) is so much different than the US where people don't even know the difference between knit and crochet.I love the purple haze. And what a perfect name since the yarn has that nice fluffy halo. :) I also love the name of Red on the Fence and that it's an indecisive red. Very witty.
I would love to win Nammi in Purple haze. I think visiting Ireland would be wonderful.
I would love to go on all of those tours! Knitting with Ooh So Blue would be some solace.
Great podcast and interview. Thanks so much for keeping them coming :-)
I love the information on Icelandic Knitting. I have always wanted to go to Iceland. The tours sound wonderful. The Purple Haze colorway is my favorite.
I love learning about different cultures, and how knitting plays a part of it. 'OOOh so blue' or 'Purple Haze' are my favorites, but any of her colors are beautiful. THey are so bright and cheery.Angie S.-Aurora, CO
"Ooh So Blue" is my favorite colorway! Thanks to your podcast, I want to learn more about Iceland and Icelandic knitting. And, of course, I want to visit Iceland someday.

Great show! I've fallen in love with ooh so blue.
Ooh So Blue is so pretty. Thanks a mil for your podcast, I can tell you put a lot of effort into it.
I really liked this podcast. It's very interesting how most people knit there, unlike here, where most people look at me weird if I'm knitting. I'd love to be in an environment where everyone is interested in eachother's knits and encourages one another. Maybe I need to move to Iceland soon :)I love the colorway: Pinky Red.Thanks for this great giveaway :)~Eliana~
I learned so much listeing to this podcase. Iceland sounds amazing. I love the Oooh so blue colorway (although it was hard to choose).

Great interview. So nice to learn more about this country and its knitting culture. I love the purple haze colourway. (knitterlynina on rav)
great interview! i´m a new listener, and will have to check out your other podcasts and website now! i´m from iceland and i learned some new stuff also! for me knitting the cardigans as a whole and then cutting them up is the normal way to do it - so i now finally understand why alot of foreign cardigan recipies have you knitting back and forth, which is such a nuance to me! for me knitting in a circle is so much faster, and once you´ve cut it once, it´s not so scary anymore :)i love the ooh so blue nammi yarn.best regards,Tinna (firstname.lastname@example.org)
This interview put Iceland on my "Like to visit" list - now I just have to convince my husband that it's a great summer vacation trip! The "oooh so blue" shade is lovely!
Hello! I love the Ooh So Blue colorway. But My Goodness Green is a close second. I usually choose greens over blues (I'm sure you can relate!), but there is something so snow-coney, icy, cool about that blue, it just blows me away! Thanks!
Purple Haze! For numerous reasons: Purple is great AND my little one loves purple too! Can't beat that!
Ooh so blue Nammi: perfect for a Pisces girl (like me!) to knit with while out on her kayak on the lakes nearby! I can just see working on a cowl while floating under a lovely summer sky...
Loved, loved, loved the interview with Ragga...I'm with you...moving to Iceland sounds lovely.... my color? Purple Haze.
I just found your podcast and really enjoyed the interview with Ragga. My daughter is going to Iceland in June. Maybe she can bring me back some authentic Iceland wool! Your theme song is so funny I laughed out loud the first time I heard it. You can count me among your regular listeners from now on.Kingston on RavelryI like the pinky-red colorway.
