ReplyDeleteWondered while listening to the very moving story if "chine" is a play on "sheen"/pronounced like "machine"? ;)
ReplyDeleteKnitting IS the best medicine... especially the occasional mindless kind! I ended up with about 15 colorful cotton dish clothes before deciding I was ready to move on. (They ARE very useful, even if they remind me for the first 4 or 5 I needed to look at/reprint the darn 3 line pattern again & again!!)
Gorgeous yarn! Thanks for the givewaway.

ReplyDeleteHello! I am a new listener and just wanted to mention that "Indochine" is the French word for Indochina, referring to that region in the world that was colonized by the French. It is pronounced roughly 'an-doh-sheen'... although that is only rough because there is no English equivalent of the 'in'.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a nice podcast!
