I think my boy looks so dapper in this new vest I just finished for him.
And the good news is that he did not complain about wearing it one bit!
I think he is coming around on the knitwear.
I bought this yarn before my son was born with the intention of making him a sweater.. it's only taken me 3 years to get around to it. :)
My favorite thing about this pattern was the slip stitch textured pattern. It was fun to knit and the resulting fabric is so warm, thick and squishy.
Pattern available HERE.
That is adorable! And I have a few skeins of the berroco ultra alpaca in my stash that didn't have a purpose yet. Now they do! My 6 yr old boy needs a vest like this.

ReplyDeleteLove this! He indeed looks pleased to be in it. And I've been looking for a "grown up" sweater vest for a boy -- this fits the bill perfectly. Thanks for the pattern details, it's been added to my queue.
ReplyDeletethat vest looks SO good on him! and he looks pretty thrilled to be wearing it. Indeed, a little tycoon!
ReplyDeleteGood to know there is hope for toddlers and knitwear.
