I think my boy looks so dapper in this new vest I just finished for him.
And the good news is that he did not complain about wearing it one bit!
I think he is coming around on the knitwear.
I bought this yarn before my son was born with the intention of making him a sweater.. it's only taken me 3 years to get around to it. :)
My favorite thing about this pattern was the slip stitch textured pattern. It was fun to knit and the resulting fabric is so warm, thick and squishy.
Pattern available HERE.

That is adorable! And I have a few skeins of the berroco ultra alpaca in my stash that didn't have a purpose yet. Now they do! My 6 yr old boy needs a vest like this.
How did you knit this in so little time?
How did you knit this in such short amount of time?
Very cute! Kid is cute too. :D
Oh my goodness. I need this in an adult size.
Oh that is so sweet!!
Love this! He indeed looks pleased to be in it. And I've been looking for a "grown up" sweater vest for a boy -- this fits the bill perfectly. Thanks for the pattern details, it's been added to my queue.
that vest looks SO good on him! and he looks pretty thrilled to be wearing it. Indeed, a little tycoon!
Good to know there is hope for toddlers and knitwear.
Xoxo

I love his little smile! So precious.
Love it! Do you have an adult version? Would love to knit one for my son, he's 26!
