Lovely pattern! I'm a newer listener to your podcast but I rather enjoy it! I think my favorite colour is Crimson.

Be Sweet is So nice to knit with. I am knitting a triangle shawl with extra fine boucle mohair and I LOVE it! Haven't listened to the podcast yet, but can't wait for a quiet moment so I can hear all about ALL of the be sweet yarns! I hope I win!

As always the show was wonderful. I've never knitted with 100% bamboo. I did take a look at the colors they're all great but if I had to choose one I'd go for the Soft Pink Rose.

Nice to know you're feeling better, Alana, and to catch an update from you. Also, thanks so much for all the info about Be Sweet. They've been on my radar for awhile now thanks to the GORGEOUS "Caprica" shawl pattern, and I've poked about on their website a bit, but it was nice to get so much detail from you about the company.

ReplyDeleteI am so excited that you upsized this pattern for Adults. It's very elegant. I like the new Silver Mint colorway the best, but I think the Champagne you chose for the design is lovely, too.
ReplyDeleteI really like the pattern (which is unusual for me - I don't always understand knitted t-shirts), and I think it'd be fun to make one in the soft olive green.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm so glad you liked the bamboo! My first to knitting projects were made with a bamboo blend and a 100% bamboo yarns, and I liked the way they felt as I worked with them, and as I wear the FOs!
I love so many of the Be Sweet Bamboo colors. I guess if I"m so lucky to win I'll have to make a decision.

I just bought two skeins of the bambino (the mix with cotton/bamboo) in Aubergine, which was lovely. I'd love to see how different the 100% bamboo is.

Really great the changes you made to this to convert it to a "womanly" pattern from the girls' version. It's so pretty. I like the champagne color it's knitted in on the pattern.
