How generous! Thank-you so much for the chance to win! Currently, I seem to be most frequently casting on accessory-type knits, such as scarves, shawls, wraps, etc. Then again, I find it tough to resist adorable baby patterns... :->

Nice layout! I love the originality of having a different one for each pattern.

These days, I tend to look for smaller items to knit for 2 reasons : 1- to be able to take them on the subway, where I get most of my knitting done 2- to use up some of my handspun yarn, since I usually have only one skein of each color/weight.

I love to knit patterns that don't require any alterations at all--usually this ends up being socks. I should note that mostly the alterations are my fault, because I will have a yarn I want to use, not get gauge, but decide to just alter all the numbers in the pattern to fit my gauge. Why does this always seem like a good idea?

I love to knit shawls using sock yarn. And I love to knit socks.

I love your beautiful patterns. Cannot wait to see them in real life.

Alana, your printed patterns are gorgeous! Although I have downloaded your patterns from Ravelry (and they are lovely, too!), the printed versions are so fabulous it makes me want to have the printed versions as well. I've mentioned that you have wonderfully written patterns of beautiful shawls and children's items to one of my LYS and am hoping that they will carry them. My current fav to thing to knit are shawls. I'm working my way up to attempting a lace shawl in fingering weight. Your Cedar leaves pattern got me wanting to attempt something more challenging. I generally like to knit things that are quick to finish (like baby clothes) and are usually gifted, but I am trying to change that and knit projects that take longer and are more complex in pattern so that I learn new techniques and knit also to knit for myself for a change!

Can't wait for your next podcast!

Theoretically, I love knitting accessories that let me try a new technique, but in practice I mostly knit for my two boys, ages 3 & 1 years. Finding inspiring boys patterns that are fun to knit and they will actually want to wear is a thrill. Incidentally, I discovered a while ago that, for me, fun to knit does not include intarsia! But if you come up with a fair-isle motorcycles sweater, for example, let me know...

I have to try and convince my LYS to stock your patterns now! They look stunning, and they are making my fingers itch to page through them...

So many of these patterns are on my wishlist. I would love to have any of them, but the whole bunch? what a great offer!

I love your blog, your work, your patterns. Thank you for keeping me wanting to knit :) The more things I knit, the more I love to knit things!

I like small things I can carry around with me - socks, hats, I'm almost done with a pair of mitts. I do most of my knitting in short spurts at stuff for my kids, so easy is good.

Love these. I really like knitting most of these things but probably kids wear and lace shawls are my faves.

I love to knit for myself! Sweaters are my project of choice but I knit lots of other things, too. Oh, and I have an 8 year old daughter that I can be persuaded to knit for as well. However, I find that I am the appreciative recipient of my hand knits.

My favorite quick item to knit is a hat done on circulars. A close second would be top down raglans.

I think accessories are my thing. I first learned to knit scarves, and then hats. I am a hat and mitten addict, but lately i've been making some shawls too. I also am getting into sweaters now too.

This is a fantastic give-away, good luck everyone, and congrats to whoever wins!

ps. i love the layout of your patterns, they look so tidy.

I love to knit handwear. It's so hard to pick a favourite, though! I also like to knit socks, hats, shawls, jumpers and cardigans. :)
