ReplyDeleteAnother great podcast! I enjoyed listening to the interview with Ysolda and am looking forward to her new book! This sounds like just the book for me, so that I will finally be able to knit a sweater that turns out to be flattering for my body type.

Love your podcasts and now own your patterns! Made a special stop today at The Scarlet Skein on my vacation to see them in person. I feel like such a groupie! LOL
ReplyDeleteI knitted Chloe over a year ago for my granddaughter and love it (Grandmatutu on Rav)! Then recently found your blog. I just put the two together today! Love your podcast--and love your patterns. I also love Ysolda's designs and am so aware of this book. It's destined to be on my reading list. Although an experienced knitter, I could learn a lot from Ysolda. Great interview, btw!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to each new podcast. Ysolda's designs are lovely. There is a coveted skein of Malabrigo waiting in my stash for the Damson shawl. I would love to win her new book and try a sweater pattern. Thanks again Alana for a great podcast!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the great interview with Ysolda. Sounds like a really good book.

Love this podcast!! ....this is a definite must buy book :)
ReplyDeleteTotally with you on the letting the design process affect your mood.
ReplyDeleteI'm going through the same thing -- huge project, really tight self-imposed deadline.
It sucks to spend days and days on a pattern when you know you have umpteen more to work on & this one was SUPPOSED to be quick & easy & it's still not working...ugh!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute book! It's a good one for you to feature since you two seem to have a similar design aesthetic. The book is informative as well. Fitting books with attractive designs are so hard to come by.
ReplyDeleteThanks for podcasting.
I knitted Elijah and have the pattern for Sophie, must get round to making her soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the great podcast and interview, again. I knitted only Isolda's shawls. Would be interesting to try a sweater.
ReplyDeleteI hope the sock will get a pair soon!

Thank you very much for this great interview! It is great to hear Ysolda talk about her new book!
ReplyDeleteWant to thank you both for a fun and informative interview. The day after listening I made my most comprehensive swatch ever and plan to make sure the shaping on my next project is spot on. I would love to read her advice in Little Red
ReplyDeleteGreat podcast and very interesting interview with Isolda. I think Little Red in the City may be one of my next book purchases if I'm not lucky enough to win it here!
