  101. What a fabulous example of a toy and learning project to share with a child! There should be plenty of time for even a slower, time-crunched knitter such as myself to get one of these cute chickies completed in time for spring. My five young children would love to explore and manipulate this handknit bird, nest and egg as they learn about birds, their lifecycles, and the art of hand-knit items. With 4 girls, one of them is bound to be a knitter in time; this should certainly entice them!!

    ReplyDelete
