I am a new knitter. The first sweater I knit for my daughter was with an expensive wool and it began showing horrible wear immediately - I was so disappointed. My second sweater was for myself and I just happened to pick out some Cascade 220 - reasonable price, nice color! I was delighted to read such great reviews on ravelry, and so far would agree- I'm wearing it all the time, its wearing nicely, and its seems softer than I originally thought! I've been wanting to purchase more Cascade 220 - glad to see this post! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI do like Cascade 220, especially the superwash. I haven't tried felting 220 before, but I've used the natural shades for hand dyeing and it works great.
ReplyDeleteI've been making so many trips to my LYS lately to finish up last minute Christmas gifts out of Cascade 220! I've got so many colors now! Thanks for the giveaway.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE Cascade 220. I made this beautiful scarf where I made different colored flowers out of the various Cascade 220 yarns and then sewed them all together. There are so many beautiful colors of Cascade 220 but anything in bright pink is great for me! Thank you so much for the chance to win!
