  152. I'm another fan of Cascade 220 - I've found it's a great basic sweater yarn and love that it comes in a million colors.

I really like your new pattern! : )

  153. Woohoo! Slippers and a sweater, and such particularly cute ones, too. I love Cascade 220 because the colors are consistent, the yarn is durable, and it felts up perfectly! I love all of their shades of blue.

  154. I'm pretty sure I've never used Cascade 220. I love the "Shrimp" and being next to "Regal Purple" and then "Lagoon" I thought they would make a great combo for something. :-)

  162. One of my favorite pair of French Press Slippers that I have made I used Cascade 220 in a beautiful mix of browns/black (color 9556). It was a good thing I was gifting them to my sister...it was hard to let them go.

  163. Cascade 220 is my favorite yarn for cabled knits and felting. I would love to make the french press slippers - they are so cute. I think my favorite colorway is the the lavender heather Cascade 220 that I am using to make a shrug. It's so feminine.

  164. I'm yet to use Cascade 220 - most likely becasue it's not readily available here in NZ! I have heard of it, and have often wondered what it is like to knit with. That blue is stunning!

  165. I love your sweater pattern, Alana! I saw it a few weeks ago in the S&C newsletter I get by email. I could knit one for each of my kids! (two boys and a girl, 7, 5 and 2). My friend just mailed her Christmas card with her girls all wearing matching sweaters she knit them (all same pattern, different colors and sizes). AND, I need a new pair of slippers. Mine have holes in the bottom :(. I hope I win!

  173. I've never had the opportunity to try out Cascade 220 as it isn't available here, to my knowledge. I have heard lots of good things about it, though, and the range of colours seems to be really great.

  176. I am a new knitter. The first sweater I knit for my daughter was with an expensive wool and it began showing horrible wear immediately - I was so disappointed. My second sweater was for myself and I just happened to pick out some Cascade 220 - reasonable price, nice color! I was delighted to read such great reviews on ravelry, and so far would agree- I'm wearing it all the time, its wearing nicely, and its seems softer than I originally thought! I've been wanting to purchase more Cascade 220 - glad to see this post! Thanks!

I would love to try out some Cascade 220, I'm newer to knitting and haven't tried it yet so thanks for reviewing it on the post. :) I've also had the french press felted slippers on my list of things to make for awhile so I'd definitely have to give them a go if I won. And I love the sweet simplicity of your camping sweater having two kids of my own along with many nieces and nephews that pattern would get some good use!

  189. I LOVE Cascade 220. I made this beautiful scarf where I made different colored flowers out of the various Cascade 220 yarns and then sewed them all together. There are so many beautiful colors of Cascade 220 but anything in bright pink is great for me! Thank you so much for the chance to win!
