It's amazing how some people get their inspiration. A leaf! How fantastic are you. The pattern looks great. Kind regards, Anita.

Ooh! How exciting!

I thought about you yesterday as my family and I made a road trip. I dropped my cable needle a few times on between the seat and the door and then between the seat and the console. Thankfully, I was able to retrieve them on my own and no one got hurt. :-) I finished one hat along the way and started another.

Happy New Year!

Oh my god....the minute I clicked on my subscriptions and opened up your post...I read what was said first and then scrolled down to see the mitts....I actually gasped !! Then I had to laugh because my boyfriend was sitting next to me on the couch and I knew he found it hilarious that I was SO excited about a pair of hand knit mittens. But, I am...and they are GORGEOUS !

I'm knitting these for my mom who is a HUGE oak fan. She moved from California to Montana in 1957 and still misses those trees
