In Episode 50 I had the wonderful privilege of interviewing Courtney Kelley and Kate Gagnon-Osborne, the authors and designers behind the book Vintage Modern Knits!

They have kindly provided 2 fabulous prizes for you to enter to win!

I've had the extreme pleasure of working with a couple of skeins of Road to China Light. It's like knitting a dream! I love all of the colorways, but I think that Hematite is the most perfect shade of grey.

I haven't used Fiber Co. Yarns, because I like to touch yarn and hold it to my skin before I buy it. I did look for it at Madrona this year, but no luck. However- it looks like several LYSs in my state sell it- road trip! I really love the softness of the colorways, especially the blues and greys.

I love the Road to China yarns. I made a woven scarf with the worsted weight in Malachite and used a black and gray sock yarn as the warm. It was so nice when I finished it.

I bought myself three skeins of Fibre Co. Terra in Sorrel on a trip to Toronto in 2008 - just used some of it up this year on gloves and am planning a hat to match. So beautiful and lovely to work with! Of their listed colours in Terra the Eucalyptus made me swoon! Wish I'd run into it while I was visiting the shops in Seattle!

The Canopy shade Coqui is amazing though too!
