Teeny Green Socks

Because where there are cute tiny baby boy shoes..

There must be teeny, handknit, bright green socks to go with them.

These are knit from a Pigeonroof Studios sock yarn that I received at Stitches West this year.

The pattern was a heavily adapted basic sock pattern for babies. There are many free patterns like this available on Ravelry. What a perfect solution for small leftovers of sock yarn!

All that I am missing now are some baby feet...

Won't be long until those little feets show up!

I LOVE your logic about the reason for the existence of the green socks. Of course! :)

You will hear the pitter patter of little boy feet very soon.

Oh, so tiny! I knit a pair for my last daughter while I was pregnant and the whole time fretted they would be just way too small. It's so easy to forget just how itty bitty they are.

I just love baby socks - I knit them to give away as I've no small ones in my life now.

The colour of these socks is gorgeous, I love the green. Very cute! I've just learnt how to knit on Dpn's and am so looking forward to being able to knit some little socks for Rose.
